An author and inspirational speaker, Stanice Anderson has two published nonfiction books: I SAY A PRAYER FOR ME: One Woman's Life of Faith and Triumph (Walk Worthy Press/Warner Books —Chapter One) and 12-STEP PROGRAMS: A Resource Guide for Helping Professionals (Learning Publications). Stanice has given talks to thousands at churches, community organizations, schools, and corporations throughout the United States and the Caribbean, including America Online Headquarters and Catholic Charities Services. Stanice was guest author and taught writing classes at the University of the District of Columbia, and continues to teach and facilitate workshops.

She has also been a guest on various national and local radio and television programs including The 700 Club, National Public Radio’s Kojo Nnamdi Show, Gospel News TV, ABC News Radio, The Audrey Chapman Show, WHUR’s The Daily Drum, St. Vincent and the Grenadines TV, The Bev Smith Show, NAACP Minority Report, and several University TV stations, including University of Maryland's (UM-TV) The Writers Tale, hosted by Professor Judith Paterson. Stanice’s 2004 interview episode won an International Telly Award and still runs on UM-TV, University of Washington-TV and The Research Channel in 2008.

Formerly employed at USAToday.com, Stanice is also a freelance writer, whose columns and articles have appeared in various national print and online magazines, including Hope For Women, Precious Times, and OnceWritten.com. She also writes a free monthly subscription-based inspirational email series, Food for the Spirit™ which she founded in 2000. It led to her first literary agent, subsequent book deal and a weekly email series, Faith Lift with Stanice™, for paid subscribers. Her global inspirational ministry burgeoned with the addition of Stanice.com, her MySpace profile, www.myspace.com/isayaprayerforme, and her popular weekly podcast, Faith-Lift™ with Stanice (61,000+ hits), which was picked up by Apple’s iTunes.

Added in 2007, Walkin' On Water When The Ground Ain't Enuf, a one-woman show written and performed by Ms. Anderson. It is an out-of-the-box experience which debuted in Washington, DC to a packed house and excerpts were also performed at DC’s renowned Studio Theatre. She also performed it in Chicago, IL and Hartford, CT. More shows are being booked. Karen L.B. Evans, Founder & President, Black Women Playwrights’ Group wrote, Bravo. I loved the show. Stanice had me falling down laughing, crying, and stomping my feet. I was very energized, excited, and left eager for more.

2007 also birthed Stanice’s Let’s Get Real Tour: Sharing Our Stories—Sharing Our Strengths. Groups of friends and organizations book tour events in their cities. Ms. Anderson waives her speaker fee and admission to event is FREE and open to all. There is power, freedom, and strength in sharing our experiences. Stanice is founder of Feast on The Word Gatherings, and a member of Black Women Playwrights’ Group and the African-American Playwrights’ Exchange. A 4th generational Washingtonian and former politician’s daughter, Stanice now resides in PG County, MD close to her son and three grandchildren.
